After three unforgettable months in Rwanda, Jackson Mayanja’s spell couldn’t get any better following his inclusion on the four-man list for Manager of the Month for January.
The gaffer was in charge of two games in the previous month for Sunrise FC, managing a victory and a draw.
Having beaten title challengers Police FC 2-1 on January 14, Mayanja and Sunrise battled to draw two-all with Etoile de L’Est six days later.
January came off the back of a decent December where Sunrise picked two victories, a draw and a single defeat.
Meanwhile, for the accolade, Mayanja must fend off opposition from APR FC’s Thierry Christian Froger.
He will also battle AS Kigali head coach Guy Bukasa as well as Emmanuel Ruremesha of Muhanzi United FC.
